Julian smiled.

"And now?"
He looked at her.

Below them, the city glittered beneath the night sky.
For the first time, Julian wasn't looking over his shoulder.

A hand reached toward the keyboard.
On the wrist was the crimson symbol.
The screen went dark.
Back at the Beaumont Estate, Lily looked toward the stars.
She couldn't explain why.
But she suddenly felt that someone was watching.
Julian placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"Whatever comes next," he said, "we face it together."
Lily smiled.
And somewhere in the darkness beyond the gates, a car slowly disappeared into the night.
