Sarah realized something else.
"They needed you desperate."
Nathan looked at her.
"They wanted me to sign."
Grant nodded.
"Exactly."
A larger organization had been manipulating Moretti from behind the scenes.
But before Grant could reveal the name, a sniper fired from across the street.
Grant collapsed.
Sarah rushed to him.
He pressed the flash drive into her hand.
"Trust... no one."
Then he died.
Nathan stared across the street.
His face became emotionless.
The war had changed.
