She looked at him.
"No."
A faint smile appeared.
"I've spent my whole life preparing for survival."
Nathan stepped closer.
"There's a difference."
Sarah looked into his eyes.
"What?"
"Survival is what you do alone."
He reached for her hand.
"War is what you do together."
For the first time, Sarah allowed herself to believe she didn't have to fight alone.
