Chapter 4 - The SilenceThe music stopped first.

One second, the villa was shaking with laughter and expensive speakers.
The next...
Silence.
Inside the living room, everyone looked around.
Trevor frowned.
“What happened?”
Evelyn tapped the sound system.
Nothing.
Then the doors locked.
One after another.
The garden exits.
The side entrance.
The electronic garage door.
Everything closed.
Trevor rushed to the wall panel.
A red padlock appeared.
“What the hell?”
I watched from the shed.
I didn't touch anyone.
I didn't threaten anyone.
I simply reminded them that the house had an owner.
Then I lowered the temperature.
The air-conditioning system roared to life.
Cold air spread through the villa.
Within minutes, people began grabbing blankets.
Evelyn stormed toward the terrace.
“Trevor! Open this door!”
Trevor pulled at the glass.
Nothing happened.
He tried the digital panel.
Nothing.
His confidence began disappearing.
“It's malfunctioning,” he said.
But he knew.
I knew.

And somewhere deep inside, Trevor finally remembered something he had ignored for years.
The villa had never been his.
