A small coastal town in Maine.
Evelyn and Alexander drove there together.
They found a modest house overlooking the ocean.
Alexander stood outside for nearly a minute before knocking.
The door opened.
A man in his late twenties stared at him.
For a moment, nobody moved.
Then the man looked at the photograph in Alexander's hand.
"You found me."
Alexander's voice shook.
"You're my brother."
Michael nodded.
"I've known who you were for years."
Evelyn watched them carefully.
There was no anger in Michael's face.
Only exhaustion.
"I didn't come looking for the Whitmore fortune," he said.
"Then why did you let us find you?"
Michael looked toward the ocean.
"Because there are things about your father you still don't know."
